Miss M's Silliness

Let's not leave out Miss M.

She had a bunch of friends over to the house on Friday after school.

They hung out for several hours and then went to church together to the Jr. high event "The 3" (every 3rd friday for 3 hours and 3 dollars).

Killing time, they apparently had LOADS of silly (bored?) fun on the Mac.

Why didn't they have this stuff when WE were kids???????

School Wars

Wildside (our church's Jr. High group) just had a 3 week "school wars".  (Although the spiritual emphasis wasn't readily apparent, the kids sure had a BLAST and invited friends who don't normally go to church because it was SO FUN!)

Miss M invited two friends over and they got all dressed up in the school spirit garb.

Annie Jr.

Miss M's Jr. High production of Annie Jr. opened this weekend.

She is playing the role of "Grace", Daddy Warbuck's Personal Assistant.

She gets to sing "I Think I'm Gonna Like it Here" and "NYC" as well as a few reprises.

"We have but one request, please put us to the test, we think you're gonna like it here."

"NYC, what is it about you?"

2nd & 3rd Days of School

Deevs was not so impressed with his first day of High School... he came home mopey saying the next 4 years were going to be "long".

He is Algebra 2/Trig with a bunch of Juniors who were none to happy about being in class with freshmen.

Lando too came home and pronounced that year would be "long".

His first class is 2nd period, so he parks in Egypt.

He has a real heavy class load, poor guy: drama 1, art & drawing, football, english 4, and AP Econ (one good, hard class).

Miss M is still riding the thrill of all the social (SO MANY KIDS... she was marveling at how just the 7th grade class alone was bigger than then entire student body of her small private school from Kindergarten - 8th grade!!!).  She is also excited that "Gibby" from iCarly (pictured below with the stars of the show) goes to her school and is in at least one of her classes (English, I think),

Deevs in 9th grade, first year of High School.
